Casablanca And Rabat From Casablanca! Located on Morocco’s northwest coast on the Atlantic seaboard, Rabat is a tasteful fusion of Western modernism and Arab-Muslim history. Rabat-Salé’s rich history, strategic location on the Atlantic, and pleasant climate have made it a popular tourist destination. The roughly 60 km of coastline offer a variety of sandy beaches and rocky coves, and the surrounding area offers an ecological diversity that is ideal for hikers.
Your Casablanca and Rabat shore excursion begins when you meet your guide and driver at the Casablanca pier. The trip starts with a picturesque drive through chic hotels and restaurants along Casablanca's Cornich Boulevard. Stop by the well-known Hassan II Mosque for a picture op and a tour outside. Proceed to explore further along the Boulevard d'Anfa in order to see the famous Notre Dame de Casablanca Cathedral.
Take a leisurely 45-minute drive to Rabat, the modern Moroccan capital, via the motorway. Once there, have lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant right in the middle of the Medina. After lunch, visit the Oudaya Kasbah, which is a 17th-century building, and then the Mohammed V Mausoleum along with the Hassan Tower. It's a short drive from there to the Royal Palace esplanade, which was built in the eighteenth century and is home to King Mohammed VI.
