Itinerary

You leave in the early hours of the morning from your hotel in Marrakech and travel through the High Atlas Mountains, passing through a variety of Berber villages. The destination is Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its fortified village and Kasbah. Fashion magazine photo shoots and Hollywood epics have made use of this spot as a backdrop. After exploring the village and its Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah (guided walking tour - optional - ) or on your own, enjoy lunch at a nearby restaurant. Then drive on to Boumalne Dades via Ouarzazate, which is also referred to as the Gateway to the Sahara. Take in the stunning drive to Dades, which ends with dinner and an overnight stay. 

Go to the impressive Todgha Gorges after breakfast by departing from your hotel. devote some free time exploring the canyons and stopping by a neighborhood café for lunch. Head towards Merzouga where your camel caravan awaits you. Ride a camelback through the Erg Chebbi dunes and see how the dusk changes color as the sun sets. Make your way to your desert camp in time for a traditional Moroccan meal served in the camp. You will be entertained by nomads from the locales who will perform a Tam Tam drum performance. Savor dinner and spend the night.

A driver will be waiting to take you back to Marrakech after an early wake-up to catch an optional sunrise. Midway through, stop for lunch in Ouarzazate before arriving to Marrakech.
